Supporting Children with Additional Needs: Strategies for Inclusive Practice

This full-day workshop is designed to equip educators with the knowledge, skills and confidence to support children with additional needs effectively in Early Childhood Education and School-Aged Care settings. Participants will explore inclusive practices, evidence-based strategies and collaborative approaches to meet the diverse needs of all children.

Grounded in the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion, this workshop aims to empower educators to create welcoming, supportive environments where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Through interactive discussions, case studies and hands-on activities, participants will leave the workshop with practical tools, resources and a deeper understanding of how to create inclusive environments that support the diverse needs of all children.

This workshop will empower educators to advocate for inclusivity, celebrate diversity and champion the rights of children with additional needs, in alignment with the principles of equity and inclusion.
