Supervision with Super Vision

This workshop explores the critical importance of effective supervision in education and care settings. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what supervision truly involves and how it can be actively and effectively implemented to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and engagement of children.

The session covers the practical aspects of supervision, including identifying potential risks, maintaining vigilance in dynamic environments, and responding appropriately to children’s needs and behaviours. Participants will also explore common challenges in supervising children and learn strategies to address these effectively, enhancing both safety and positive experiences for children.

Through discussion, real-life examples, and reflective activities, educators will develop confidence in applying best-practice supervision techniques in their own settings. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and practical tools to strengthen their supervision skills, support team consistency, and promote safe, engaging, and responsive learning environments for all children.
