Introduction to Guiding Behaviour Through Respectful Interactions (Part 1)

This workshop invites educators to explore the importance of secure, respectful and reciprocal interactions in fostering children’s wellbeing. When children feel valued and respected, they gain confidence and develop lifelong relationship skills.

Participants will reflect on how everyday statements, shaped by their own experiences, can impact interactions with children.

The session will offer insights into replacing unhelpful responses with more constructive ones and discuss strategies for addressing challenging behaviours through positive, respectful approaches.

The workshop emphasises understanding the stressors behind children’s behaviours and how addressing these can create a supportive and nurturing environment.

Join us to reflect on your practices and gain practical tools for guiding children’s behaviour with empathy and respect.
