Safe Spaces, Stronger Kids: Stories that Empower

This short video series helps educators, families and carers build confidence in talking with children about body safety, consent, protective behaviours and inclusion.

In partnership with eSafeKids founder Kayelene Kerr, the series blends practical strategies with book readings from carefully chosen children’s literature, showing how stories can become powerful tools for embedding child safe practices.

Each reading models simple, age-appropriate language and provides conversation starters that make safety, respect and belonging part of everyday story time. By using books children love, educators can introduce protective behaviours naturally, spark meaningful reflection, and nurture environments where every child feels safe, valued and empowered.
