SUMMARY:Adult Behaviour Traffic Light Framework
DESCRIPTION:See it. Stop it. Say it.\nAdult Traffic Light Framework\nTo strengthen a joint commitment to child safety\, Child Australia is delivering the Adult Behaviour Traffic Light Framework: “See it. Stop it. Say it.”\, a 2-hour professional development by the Sector Specialist team at Child Australia. \nThis tool helps staff recognise and respond to adult behaviours that may be inappropriate\, boundary-blurring or unsafe. \nIt categorises behaviours into: \n\ngreen (safe and professional)\namber (concerning or boundary-testing) and\nred (harmful or high-risk)\n\n…making it easier for all team members to speak up early and act when something doesn’t feel right. \nIt’s about creating a culture where safety isn’t assumed\, it’s actively upheld. \nIn this PD\, Educators learn and practice how to identify and call out problematic or harmful behaviours. \nThis framework links directly to The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. \n  \nHosted by our Sector Specialists\nRocky Beaton \nRocky brings over 25 years of experience in the early years learning sector\, having worked across England and Australia in a range of leadership and operational roles. Most recently\, she spent more than a decade as an Executive Centre Manager\, leading an Exceeding-rated service within one of Perth’s leading services. Read more here. \n  \nSonali Fernandes \nSonali has extensive experience in ECEC\, having worked across roles from assistant educator to room leader\, service manager and trainer. Sonali is a huge educator advocate and her passion is to support educators\, who ultimately support children\, while creating inclusive environments where every child feels valued and supported.
