See it. Stop it. Say it.
Adult Traffic Light Framework

To strengthen a joint commitment to child safety, Child Australia is delivering the Adult Behaviour Traffic Light Framework: “See it. Stop it. Say it.”, a 2-hour professional development by the Sector Specialist team at Child Australia.

This tool helps staff recognise and respond to adult behaviours that may be inappropriate, boundary-blurring or unsafe.

It categorises behaviours into:

  • green (safe and professional)
  • amber (concerning or boundary-testing) and
  • red (harmful or high-risk)

…making it easier for all team members to speak up early and act when something doesn’t feel right.

It’s about creating a culture where safety isn’t assumed, it’s actively upheld.

In this PD, Educators learn and practice how to identify and call out problematic or harmful behaviours.

This framework links directly to The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
